Let me present to you my first music video ever!
I wrote this song when I was going thru my breakup in like, hmm 2024?
And I had a notebook and paper and wrote some things, then I looked for a crystal castles type beat and @luvkrisdior recorded it and mastered it for me!

This wasn’t my first time recording, tho. This was like my second lol. I recorded a song in 2018 called Faerie but I haven’t shared it yet! I’m basically sitting on a few songs from back then, but now I feel more driven than ever to share them. As an artist, the more you hoard what’s meant to be shared, the more things start to become…uncomfortable. I love how Rick Rubin talks about this in the The Creative Act. I believe it's the “Completion” chapter.

I am so thrilled to finally take this step in my creative path. Channeling this part of my creativity makes my teenage self so proud. It goes with that thing people say about how they’re only in competion or motivated by a past version of themself. I’m tryna one-up my my teenage and twenty year old self cuz she was stepping on necks! Although, I’m thankful for the wisdom I have today because I didn’t have that with my twenties. Julia Cameron mentions this in her book the Artist’s Way when she talks about mentoring people in their 30’s and beyond saying there’s more of a wisdom and discipline in approach to the Artist and I feel that I fw that!
